This is a great program for children starting hockey or ringette this fall or just wanting to learn to skate.

We at Laurie’s Learn to Skate think our Synthetic Ice surface is the best surface on which to start your beginner skater ages 3 & up. It takes away the need for any skate aids, or  parental assistance. The child feels confident because they can do it by themselves and in doing so, find it fun and relaxing.  

Children will need a hockey helmet with a cage and skates need to be sharpened. Gloves or mitts are needed as well and children do not need to be bundled up as it's a warm room. 

This is a 30 minute class, 20 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes supervised playtime at the end of the class.

Class Dates:

Monday & Wednesday(twice a week program) Sept. 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24 

Tuesday & Thursday (twice a week program) Sept. 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25
