Children must be able to Stand alone on skates and get up by themselves and walk across the ice without any assistance.

**Recommend  children do the Synthetic ice surface first if they have never had lessons or skated before**

Children will need a hockey helmet with a cage and skates need to be sharpened. Gloves or mitts are needed and Snow pants are great for padding and keeping dry.
