Synthetic Ice classes
SYNTHETIC ICE LOCATION
1064 SALK RD UNIT 17 PICKERING
We at Laurie’s Learn to Skate think our Synthetic Ice surface is the best surface on which to start your beginner skater ages 3 & up. It takes away the need for skate aids, or parental assistance. The child feels confident because they can do it by themselves and in doing so, find it fun and relaxing.
Children will need a hockey helmet with a cage, and skates need to be sharpened. Gloves or mitts.
Helmet and skate rentals are available on Synthetic ice only
(shoe size must be under youth size 1 for skate rental)
Children do not need to be bundled up as it's a warm room. Snow pants are great for extra padding.
This is a 30 minute class, 20 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes supervised playtime at the end of the class. We have a max of 6 children per class with 2 instructors.
